Jul 21, 2007 Tremendous bottle. Dark caramel in color with a cloud of head. Grapy, vinuous aroma, with rustic bread, apricot or peach notes. Seet and sour, sweet dried pit fruit, cherries, then a tart finish. Full-flavored, with a light caramel malt backing. Somewhat undefinable, becuase it has so much fruit. Not astringent or overly alcoholic at all. A nice beer to sip on a hot afternoon.

Jan 6, 2008 La più classica del Baladin io non l’avevo ancora assaggiata; colgo l’occasione ieri sera da Pietrino a Vignole Borbera (che sorpresa che tengano queste bottiglie); il bicchiere è goffamente inadatto, ma ce lo facciamo andare bene lo stesso (anche perché se ne avessi chiesto un altro me lo dovevano ancora portare ora, col casino che c’era.........) i puntini allungano la review che bello aspetta ne faccio altri .......... che carini vero? ........... a me piacciono, poi non so se a te che leggi piacciono però io li trovo molto comodi........ il colore è rossiccio con buona schiuma beige, aroma fruttato e straordinariamente dolce, concordo con l’albicocca un po’ meno con la banana. Sapore complesso ma molto piacevole e straordinariamente bilanciato e con toni agrumati zompettanti. A proposito i due punti sembrano dei puntini che zompano sopra gli altri per saltare la fila, non vi pare? Faccio un esempio..........:................. non è vero? A me pare di sì. Grande birra la Super. Una birra super.

Aug 23, 2009 The beer poured a bright orange color with a tight head, the beer was very hazy. The aroma was spicy and lightly floral, the aroma reminded me of a classic Belgian dubbel. The flavor is sweet, sweeter than I normally like, but somehow it works well here. Spicy flavors dominate with some fruitiness, some orange, and some alcohol. Pretty good.

Dec 31, 2006 Bottle: Pours a light orange/amber color. Smell is belgian yeasts mixed with fruit and spices. Flavor is reminiscent of many belgian tripels. I didnt detect any sourness as others have mentioned, so if brett is present, is very faint. Overall, not a bad beer.

Nov 23, 2005 This is a really disgustingly sweet brew. It is a sweet malicious blend of soap and alcohol. It is just to overwhelming for my tastebuds.

Jun 27, 2004 Strong fruity and floral aroma. Flavour is apricot like but this has much more bitterness than most Belgian Strongs or dubbels.

Aug 7, 2008 Aroma is slightly fruity, with a little alcohol coming out. The appearance is a hazy orange, lots of particulate matter, tan foam. The flavor is a only a little sweet, sour, and yeasty. The palate is fairly dry. Not bad
