Commercial Description:
The masterpiece of the brewery. The beer that mostly encountered the favour among the customers at Le Baladin. Although one wouldn't believe that, it's the most alcoholic among all the productions. It originated from an old recipe created toward the end of the '800 following the style of the belgian abbey beers. Intense aroma of warm flowers, apricot and banana and hints of bitter almond. Agreeable, refreshing and quenching taste of apricot in syrup, almond cake and citrus fruits. Excellent the use of belgian selected hop during the fermentation process. This beer matches perfectly with ripen cheeses, biscuits and almond sweets.

Hazy peach color with faint white head. Spicy caramel malt, apricot, citrus, apple, flavors with a light spicy body. Light finish. More bright and hoppy rendition of a Belgian sour.

Bottle: Pours a light orange/amber color. Smell is belgian yeasts mixed with fruit and spices. Flavor is reminiscent of many belgian tripels. I didnt detect any sourness as others have mentioned, so if brett is present, is very faint. Overall, not a bad beer.

The beer poured a bright orange color with a tight head, the beer was very hazy. The aroma was spicy and lightly floral, the aroma reminded me of a classic Belgian dubbel. The flavor is sweet, sweeter than I normally like, but somehow it works well here. Spicy flavors dominate with some fruitiness, some orange, and some alcohol. Pretty good.

A really interesting beer, worth trying. Had the special opportunity to try this in Venice, as I stumbled upon a little cheese/meat shop that happened to have a few bottles on hand. Expensive but so is everything in Venice. Found the "Super" to be special indeed. Quite mild, as if the alcohol content was several percentage points below what it was. Farmhouse taste that imparts an artisan character: not an imitation of any Belgian brew I know. In a country ruled by wine, this is a fine addition to the Italian array of beverages.

Bottle, bought @ YNWA, Kolding. Pours a hazy orange with loads of small particles floating around. Head is foamy, fizzy, slightly geyish and frankly, rather unappealing. Aroma is caramel, fruity orange tartness. Some exotic fruits as well and a dose of yeast. High carbonation. Flavour is surprising compared to the aroma, thus is musky, barnyard, light tart. The fruitiness is subdued, matured and relatively mild. Alcohol is nowhere to be found. Extremely balanced, nowhere near pretty, but rather nice.
