Commercial Description:
The masterpiece of the brewery. The beer that mostly encountered the favour among the customers at Le Baladin. Although one wouldn't believe that, it's the most alcoholic among all the productions. It originated from an old recipe created toward the end of the '800 following the style of the belgian abbey beers. Intense aroma of warm flowers, apricot and banana and hints of bitter almond. Agreeable, refreshing and quenching taste of apricot in syrup, almond cake and citrus fruits. Excellent the use of belgian selected hop during the fermentation process. This beer matches perfectly with ripen cheeses, biscuits and almond sweets.

Bottle. Pretty good. Estery fruit. Banana and red berry and some black currant. Slightly yeasty, and quite smooth, quite well balanced in the end. I am getting touches of apricot as the description above says. I think this is pretty good, but probably not as good as i was hoping.

Metallic notes and some belgian yeast funk in the aroma. Cloudy amber, low creamy head, champagne carbonation. Sweet fruit salad - Pineapple, oranges and peaches - much nicer after you let the carbonation go a bit. Sweet and sticky and hides its strength well. Candy peach aftertaste.

Mild fruity nose, some malt, apricot colour, small off-white head. Taste of pitfruit and malt. Well balanced, tart, bitter, great tongue tingle. Finally, well worth the wait.

Hazy golden, fluffy head. Spicy and sweet aromas. Taste is sweet fruity bread, winey, spices, apple. Sweet dry finish. Nice and mild tasting, yet full flavored - would go well with food

750ml Bottle: Aroma of biscuit, bread, malts, light yeast, and a hint of fruit. Poured orange/amber in color with a small, off-white/oatmeal head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of a zillion small particles throughout. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of malts, toasting, dough, yeast, slight hops and a hint of caramel. Very raw-dough like. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Malt, yeast, and dough finish. 8%ABV is totally hidden.

Bottled: Citrus aroma, notes of hop, light yeasty. Huge foamy head. Hazy orange color with yeast remains. Flavor is fresh, sour/sweet with notes of citrus and oranges. Spicy, remarkable hopped and light herbal. Dry finish. Light, fruity and a not remarkable alcohol content.

1/2/03. Slightly fruity aroma. Hazy golden orange color with suspended yeast. Light apricot colored head that faded quickly. Sweet malty flavor with a citrus twang and some dough-like flavors. Carbonation held up nicely throughout.
