| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 26, 2007 Bottle. Orange body with a lots of chunky floaties and a small white creamy head. Interestingly enough there was some orange hop character in the aroma along with bready yeast and metal. Quite sweet flavour with fruitiness in the form of pears and some tart apples. Bready alcohol is apparent also.
Pretty good overall. Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 29, 2004 Now this is an interesting beer, pouring cloudy orange with abundant dark "floaties" and a thin-medium light tan head. Rich, complex aroma of spice, layered breads, caramel, and nuts. Very yeasty. The flavor is quite complex too, with bubblegum, cotton candy, biscuit, caramel, fruits including orange peel, cracker, corn syrup and bitter phenols suggesting something Hair of the Dog would produce. However, the beer does not finish clean, leaving a musty, slightly off-putting yeasty aftertaste in the back of the mouth and throat. In fact, 20 minutes later, the taste is still in my mouth. Still worth trying if you’re interested in complex beers. bu11zeye (5621), Frisco, Texas, USA
