The aroma and flavor are sweet, malty and fruity with a slight vinious note, a little spice and a touch of sourness. Medium to full bodied and amazingly smooth with a touch of dryness. This is like a super dry wine, quite cloying. I really enjoyed this, strong, vaguely fruity, but not at all a beer-like beverage, more like a classic apertif. Very, very good. Beautiful bottle, beautiful pour...gorgeous peachy hue, with some floatabilities, running ’round, under a shockingly pristine, lacily, bubbilly, off-whitish head.
Aroma: airy, other-worldly, yeastily aberrant, if you know what I mean, citric and somewhat sweetish...wonderful fruit...time to drink, isn’t it?
Yum, again, if I haven’t said so before, a fully yeasty, citric bent...deliciousness abounds here...odddly, I was more impressed with the flavor of Nora, but the Super appears to be a Belgian Tripel style that falls within guidelines, but doesn’t go too much further beyond...it’s delicious, though ...enjoy it!

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 7, 2006 Bottle from Super Saver. Pours turbid deep coppery/brown with 2-finger off-white head. Aroma of fruit, caramel malt, some peaty and nutty hints. The flavor is caramel malty, with big dark fruit. Complex palate that is on the dense side, and rather lively. As it warms, it gets a bit more tart, perhaps even approaching Flemish sour territory. diabbolo (2), Varallo Sesia, Italy does not count | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Nov 1, 2007 one of the best beer of the "le baladin" brewery. A mild beer, fruity taste. wondrtim (19), Lakewood, Washington, USA

Very thick and luxurious it has alot of sweet malt flavors of dried spice and apricot some rasin and currant good dry finish with a nice hop profile to balance. This beer is very nice, reembles a belgian strong or without the metallic or fruity gum flavors but more of a traditional ale flavor that resemnbles a English brown. A must try . matrixmorb (6), , Italy does not count | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Dec 1, 2008 Flavour: orange, grapefruit, and peach.
