Jul 8, 2006 Pours a hazy orange color with a thin lacing head.Hugh fruit aroma with a slight floral hint.Sour fruits pretty much sum this up.Light mouthfeel with crispness and refreshing.A nice clean finish.

Mar 4, 2006 Sample BI Indy gathering 2/25/06 - Aroma is yeasty, sweet fruit, banana, and wet malt. Pours hazy yellow with small head and decent lacing. Flavor is cotton candy, malt, hops, almond, bread dough, and some spice. Palate is snappy and sweet. Interesting and tasty.

Jul 16, 2004 Quite similar to a Belgian dark strong ale, but with something more complex.
Apricot and orange peel, of course, and a spicy aroma not clearly identifiable. One of my preferred beers.

Jan 26, 2009 Bottle aged approx 2 years. Pours a lightly hazy really nice robust orange with a large foamy/creamy off white head that left lots of nice lacing. Small floaties. Aroma was very floral at first, followed by a nice orangey touch, then some malty sweetness, Belgian fermentation esters are present, Lightly peppery and spicy, getting a bunch of various fruits including some mango and other tropical fruits and a bit earthy. Flavor of bready malt, yeast, Belgian yeast esters, light spicy notes, some citrus, a touch of some tartness, apricots and caramel.

May 2, 2005 Updated: May 3, 2005Couleur ambrée tirant vers l’oranger, orné d’une faible mousse brune pale pleinement diminuante. Arômes très convaincants de pâtisseries françaises, de pâte d’amande, de vanille et d’épices variées. La levure est très marquée en bouche et sa présence rappelle celle de la terre et des feuilles mortes d’automne alors que les flaveurs empruntent la plupart de leur identité aux arômes. Corps d’épaisseur moyenne, carbonatation très active. Une faible dose d’alcool se manifeste en retro-olfaction. Appréciable, inhabituel et certainement vive comme image.

Mar 27, 2007 Updated: Jul 1, 2007750 ml bottle. an unclear pale amber beer with a fine medium large head. The aroma is flowery and fruity (banana). The flavour is not overly sweet and has a nice hop touch in the finish. Also a very drinkable beer.

Apr 10, 2008 Pours a cloudy amber color with foamy white head. Nice fuit aroma of apple, pear and citrus. Very crisp belgian style ale. Lots of crisp fruit notes such as aple and pear as well as a slight sour taste.
