Commercial Description:
The masterpiece of the brewery. The beer that mostly encountered the favour among the customers at Le Baladin. Although one wouldn't believe that, it's the most alcoholic among all the productions. It originated from an old recipe created toward the end of the '800 following the style of the belgian abbey beers. Intense aroma of warm flowers, apricot and banana and hints of bitter almond. Agreeable, refreshing and quenching taste of apricot in syrup, almond cake and citrus fruits. Excellent the use of belgian selected hop during the fermentation process. This beer matches perfectly with ripen cheeses, biscuits and almond sweets.

Cloudy appearance with big particles, copper orange colour, good persistent head. Sweet hazelnut aroma. The taste is yeasty, fruity (peach and apricot) and quite sweet, with vanilla traces. Hazelnut and almonds in the aftertaste. This beer is really pleasant and well balanced.

Cloudy amber. An off-white ring doesn’t last on top of it. Very doughy aroma. This yeast strain of theirs sure does create interesting flavours. On top of that, the super possesses a great self-assurance in aroma that would make it recognizable among a dozen of similar products. Rich biscuity malt, maybe chocolatey even is loaded with marzipan, almonds and wood. Heathery yellow apple skins comes out powdery and make me think of the quintessential bakes fruits salad. Strong yeastiness, highly carbonated. Light-medium body could use some weight perhaps, but this remains remarkable stuff.

Pours a hazy orange -amber color that sits under a thick tan head. This beer literally overflows the bottle because it is so carbonated. This beer has an interesting, subtle spiced aroma, but is dominated by aromas of orange and apple. The taste is lightly sweet up front and the finish is quite fruity. This has a nice sharp middle to it that is amplified by the tongue tingling carbonation. I get notes of apple orange and cinnamon. The finish has an astringent note to it, as well as a bit of spicy hotness. This beer is definitely quite nice, I like the contrasting flavors in this. Italy is definitely starting to do some interesting things.

Floral, lightly phenolic, icing sugar, doughy, lightly spicy, lavender, vanilla, marzipan aroma. Opaque tan-brown with a shy white head that recedes quickly to a light ring. Plenty of yeast in suspension. Very floral and malty with a strong vanilla character. Peppery, spruce-like spices emerge more in the finish along with a black tea, tannin leafiness that lasts on the tongue. Fruity orange-pineapple-cherry notes. Medium body with fair carbonation. Bottle enjoyed with beerbuzzmontreal, MartinT, Olivier_MTL, Rastacouere and Yowie.

Tremendous bottle. Dark caramel in color with a cloud of head. Grapy, vinuous aroma, with rustic bread, apricot or peach notes. Seet and sour, sweet dried pit fruit, cherries, then a tart finish. Full-flavored, with a light caramel malt backing. Somewhat undefinable, becuase it has so much fruit. Not astringent or overly alcoholic at all. A nice beer to sip on a hot afternoon.
