Aroama of all alcohol and raisons, and then some more alcohol... Taste was syrupy sweet and raisons/plums. Alcohol in the taste but not as much compared to the nose. The body didnt have much carbonation, which made it to be a little thicker. There are better bareywines out there in imo. I didnt even finish my glass... so I think that sums it up thewolf (5727), Kolding, Denmark

Pours clear red brown with no head. Aroma has clear notes of port, it’s vinious with toffee, cherries and some cellar. Very low carbonation, almost flat - wonderfully oily. Flavour is sweet, vinious, reminds me a bit of Samuel Adams Utopias, actually. Toffee, port, raisins, light chocolate. Extremely elegant. Bragesnak (2257), Aarhus, Denmark

Pour is dark ruby brown with absolutely no head. Some bubbles but no carbonation. Some fine sediment sneaks in. Strong alcohol aromas, woody, tobacco, vinuous. Very sweet on the tongue hints at grapes and figs. Excellently done oxidation. Nice port flavors with a warming alcohol finish. Harsh aromas but an incredible taste, smooth and sticky but not cloying. Expensive at 40 bucks but worth it for an experience. Slayer85 (584), Firenze, Italy
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 23, 2008 Bottled, 2005 vintage. A hazy dark ruby beer with absolutely no head. The aroma is strong and moderately alcoholic with many vinous notes and Port. The flavour is enormously sweet, with no bitterness. Some fruity notes and again many resemblances to wine. Syrupy and perhaps lightly cloying. Medium to full body, very low carbonation, long sweet finish with no bitterness. The alcohol is felt. Interesting and very strange, odd but not particularly exciting to my palate. Good burt too expensive.
