Commercial Description:
The beer has a deep golden color totally clear and transparent, with a bitterness which is soft to the tongue and nose however with an aroma of fresh hops, a short aftertaste and easy on foam. The combination of all feels fresh and smooth to the mouth when cold, perfect for Aruba's hot climate.

Can from Daniel. I forgot how he got this beer, but I would certainly drink more of it. From the can it tastes like a pale lager, smells like one, and yeah. Thats about it. Nothing really to say other than its better than budwesier, tastes like a non skunked heineken, and from a country that is not very large and assumingly does not have a ton of brewers, it isnt bad at all. I would drink this if I was there, probably better than the water

Courtesy of Oscbert. Pours a clear light gold with a small white layer of foam. Aroma is mostly of hay, grass, not much else. Flavor repeats with hay and finishes with a little sweetness. Crisp, clean mouthfeel. Upper-medium carbonation. Overall, fair plus.

~Scent of spicy saaz hops, some sourness and wet straw. ~Pours a very clear gold color with small diminishing white head. ~Saaz hop flavor with sour malty hay... taste much sweeter and better at the brewery. ~Light bodied, med to high carbonation, spicy bitter finish. ~Excellent Pilsner. Refreshing brew. Great for a hot day at the beach. If you can get it straight from the brewery tap. Taste much better than at a bar or resturants tap.

Bottle: Yellow, clear. More husk. Light bran, wheat with a more pleasant malty biscuity note in the nose. Still thin though.

A gift from my boss on a recent trip to Aruba. Thanks Chuck! Pours out a typical yellow color with a huge quick disappearing head. Aroma had some corn, sugar and hops to it. Taste was rather refreshing with a crisp bitter finish. Over all a nice brew.

Balashi is the beer brewed in Aruba from sea water. While on an Indiana Furniture trip to Aruba Balashi was the beer to drink. It was served everywhere you went. It was refreshing in the windy 90 degree climate. There is a slight bitterness but very smooth. This not a beer with much complexity. It a fun beer to drink while sitting on the water’s edge soaking the sun. The bottles were mostly small less than 9 oz. It went quickly.

Ok, so this is one of those beers you have to "just try" It’s from Aruba right. A golden beer flavored beverage. Great.

11 oz. can that I received as a gift from someone who just got back from a vacation in Aruba. Pours a crystal clear gold with a moderate white head that lasted through the first sip and left no lace. Mild aroma of corn cereal and some grassy hops. The flavor is corn cereal up front followed by some harsh grassy hops. Thin, watery body.
