Commercial Description:
As our flagship brand, this classic Pilsner is our pride and inspiration. Skillfully brewed, it is specially blended for the tropics, moderate and slightly dry. With a well-rounded finish and creamy foam, it is rich in taste and well deserving of its name. Truly premium.

Bottle. Clear golden pour with a white head that disapears quickly. Aroma is hoppy, resembling that of a pale european lager. Flavor matches, nothing special about this one.

Thanks to Chris and Judy for this bottle. Gold with a white head. Slight hoppy aroma. Faint grainy taste and a little dryness in the finish. Decent refresher on a sunny day, though to be honest there’s sleet and snow outside right now.

Bottle into a lager glass. Pours clear yellow with a small white head that goes fast. Wow... this is putrid. The aroma is of course horrifying skunk domination. I can sense that there is maybe some grass or hay or something hiding, but it’s so skunky that there’s basically nothing else going on. The flavor is skunky with a bite of light malts and actually a touch of sour citrus and a metallic finish. High carbonation but still slightly creamy somehow... a weird and gross combination.

Bottle at Cock & Bull as a promotional beer with band, 2 for $5. Poured clear golden color with a minimal white frothy head that diminished quickly with minimal lacing. Light sweet grassy aroma. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of short duration. Another worth trying once beers.

I had both the Bali Hai premium lager (62cl bottle) and the Draft beer (33cl can), but I don’t see why they’re listed as the same beer, tastes were very different. Premium Lager: Light golden colour, white head. Aroma is sweet, cereal, light hops. Flavour is very light, some CO2 bitterness, grain, cereals, light grassy. Dry finish. Thin bodied. 52418 Draft Beer: Clear pale golden colour, white head. Aroma is sweet, syrupy, hint of cinnamon, cereals. Flavour is sweet, cereal, bit of grain, all with some weird sweet veggie taste. Light bodied. 42327

Patio bottle with Pa Jenner. Pale gold with lace dabs, Papery heartburn fizz, grainy and acidic..Reasonable lemon, grass and metal aroma, some almond and rubber. Heavily card-accented and sourish; stale conifer possibly from hops, adhesive notes, corn for dessert. Sour rice paperiness like Budweiser. Finishable, and a new country ticked...

Bottle served cold. Pours gold with thin head. Taste is coarse and harsh, hangovers are worse. Pretty bad.

Bottled (thanks omhper!). Pale yellowish golden colour with some particles floating around. Small white head. Aroma is cooked vegetables, some grains, rubber and mildly maizeish. Flavour is some very strange sweetness, very much like vegetably sugars or something (not maize or ricelike), some mild bitterness as well as herbal notes. A rather strange brew, which at first meeting will set you totally off, but then again is actually quite drinkable in all it’s strangeness.
