Really only a shell of its former self. But, when I mean former, I remember it had some real ale qualities 25 years ago, but now I have to dance with who brung ya. Light golden color with a smallish off-white head. Aromas of white soda, grain, quinine and a hint of spicy hops. Light sweet malt mix with a touch of grain and herbal hops. Some raw flavors seem to suggest real hops, but still a touch thin and tinny.

Attractive golden pour with huge creamy inviting long-lasting white head. (I’m sorry, some of that turned out to be flocking off the tree!) Corn syrup and grainy adjunct flavors. Thin watery texture. Little more than a hint of hop bitterness to be found.

"America’s largest selling ale." !?!?! That’s what it says on the label, anyway. Understandable in a country (my country!) that thrives on BMC pale lagers. Anywho - it’s a nice golden color. The aroma is watery, bready with a suggestion of hops. Thin in the mouth, the flavor is almost tasteable, a mild sweet malt mixed with vast amounts of water. The finish, almost unnoticed, is a final dab of sweet malt.

12 oz bottle. Brewed by Fallstaff. Minimal head that dissipates quickly. Mild malty flavor with no real hop presence. The light flavor makes it quite drinkable but, not going to be on my list of favorite beers.

12 oz Bottle. Clear amber, Small head. Light body. This was not worth the anticipation I had to try this. Oh well.

Bottle 12 oz. Clear amber color with a medium head. Medium hop and grain aroma. Light body. Medium grainy and hop flavor with a short finish. Better than the standard macro.

Reminds me a bit of Little Kings-light, a slight creamed corn sweetness. Not a bad lawmower beer, but not something I’d ever buy again.
