Golden colour. Slight spicy hop presence, decent balance, and very light mossy, earthy nuances towards the finish.

Decent golden color, small white head that faded quickly leaving little behind. The aroma was forgettable. Some mild malt notes, maybe some corn slightly sweet. The taste was nothing special at all.Mild malt side again with a decent mild sweetness and a bit of hops thrown in to keep things rolling.Over all it worth a try but little more then that.

I got a case free after the GABF. Its sort of drinkable, but best for steaming brats or making beer butt chicken.

had this with ice on new years. the smell was woody and corn-y, and made me want to hold my nose while drinking it. didnt have any flavors that stood out to me. much more bland than the OE we had before. i could go without having this one again.

Hell ya, i had this one in my grasp a few years back, but the god damn gas station wouldnt sell it to me cause of some lame ass sunday law. I thought this was a malt liqour too. So, i had it in a forty. It had kinda the same aroma as little kings, creamed corn, aww yea. Kinda a paleish cornbread color. It didnt taste bad, while it didnt taste good. Kinda bland and lacking any distinctive flavas. Imagine PBR on draught, thats what it was like.

My father saw the Ballantine sitting in the fridge and asked "You really bought Ballantine? Like, to drink?" Well, I did, and this beer lacks in every way and disgusts me in every way. But its got FLAVA

Bottle. Clear, light golden color with a small white head. Very mild aroma of malt and some skunkiness. Flavor was also mild, with a bit of malt followed by a touch of hops. Detected a bit of wood in the aftertaste.
