pours golden, clear with small white head which dissipated quickly. Aroma reminds me of heineken...sweet, a little sticky...malty.citrusy.

The opportunity to drink an ale out of a can comes along so rarely in my life. This moment should be savored. Previous comments not withstanding, this was truly terrible. Had the look of all miller products, way too carbonated for an ale. It smells like they were trying very hard to get some sort of aroma out of this, but alas, it was not to be. Very thin palate backed up by a flavor reminiscent of something indescrible, but bad. Aftertaste leaves a lot to be desired.

I have heard of this beer for many years, though really I did not expect much from it. Sampled from a 12 oz green bottle this beer poured a medium golden color with just a hint of a white head. There was a sour almost skunky aroma with a hint of hops. The flavor was sour, vaguely skunky, a hint of malt and a corn syrup quality. A skunky bitterness lingered on the finish. Wholly forgettable.

I had this a while back, I thought it was very good tasting, being it the oldest brewery in the usa at one time, and I thought I should get it and try it out. It is an ale but hey I like beer so wether it’s ale or pilsner I always give it at least one shot, and if it’s good Ill get it again, oh its good with pretzels

Had this at CBP. Pours gold, with slight hop aroma. Tastes slightly malty, with some hops and chardonnay in the finish. I’m not sure what the XXX is supposed to mean....maybe the movie playing in John Kruk’s announcing booth?
