Bottle. One of the finest ales in America? uh, no. There is a mildly hoppy aroma. Golden body, small head. Flavor is scant malts, a little sweet. Not much else.

My pop loved the nj brewed original ipa. i decided to try it one night when i wanted to get blasted. it was a ruff 40oz but not terrible. it reminded me of the other generics now put out by miller. still a good collection for my tacky bacholer beer wall

Had to try this one for the history. Pretty clean grain aroma and flavor, with just a hint of fruitiness in the aroma. Not terrible.

12 oz bottle. Pours a good looking clear gold with a fluffy bright white head. Aroma of vegtables, corn and wet grass and grains. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. Weak flavor of stale grain and vegtable soup that finishes with a touch of bitterness. Blah.

Ahhh the legendary Ballantine ale. Been wanting to try this for a while. Too bad I’ll never get to try the IPA. This blonde isn’t bad though. 3.6% of all blondes...really people? Maybe I got lucky and got an unskunked sample. I get a very light hop aroma. Clear yellow, small white head. Flavor is smooth, slightly fruity aftertaste. Smooth finish, medium body.

Drank it out of a can. Didn’t pour anything, just drank it. Nothing to write home about, but better than others.

This beer tastes like it was brewed before any escalators. Horrible. Skunky aroma and taste and hard to drink. Found this little billie to be pretty offensive.

Can. Blonde pour with a thick white head. Aroma is like slightly skunky hops, but the taste is ok. A little sweet, a little bitter, nothing special but drinkeable.
