Aug 16, 2008 12oz. Wasnt terrible. Had green bottle symdrome taste and nose - skunk like and grassy. Im not sure why they say its older than any escalator? lol that doesnt seem very relevant.

Jun 27, 2008 Had this one before, figure I’ll drink it (or pour it, depends how this goes...) to remove it from the cellar. Instant skunkitude from the pour and first whiff. Damned green bottles... The taste isn’t much better, there’s really nothing there except for a watery, skunky taste. The rest of this is getting dumped, not worth it...

Jun 22, 2008 Pours yellow with a bit of a head. Aroma is skunk and straw with a hint of lemon and yeast. Flavor is almost nonexistant- and does not last more than 1 second. Not even that refreshing. Astringent and unappealing. No go on this one.

Jun 21, 2008 The aroma is Soda water, yeast, corn, funk, and metal. The appearance is pale gold with a decent head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is watery. Overall it’s not good.

Jun 4, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a clear light golden color with a white short lived non lacing head. Green bottle aroma and flavor skunky and metalic (keep them out of the light ). Light body and water texture with a lively carbonation. Not a very good beer.

May 21, 2008 Bottle. One of the worst beers i have ever had. Oddly enought i have a friend who lives on part of there old property dunno what it was used for. Pours thin blond body, with little head. Aroma and flavor is sweet, skunky, and copper. There is nothing to desire here.

May 19, 2008 Its been years since I had a Ballantines. I remember it has being one of the better macro-brewed beers. Can’t remember too much about its aroma nor its appearance, I do recall that it had a pleasent flavor and good overall on the palate, no bad after taste. I’ll have to see if its avaliable where I live now
