Jan 21, 2009 Cask, The Crown, Nuneaton. Pale straw beer with a full (wheat?) haze. woodsy and gooseberry-like hop aroma. Smells alright. Almond, more wood, mealy sweet corn afters, vanilla beyond. Some closing piney harshness and acidity. Not really sure what this beer is trying to be. It’s odd, edgy, stylistically confused, and OK.

Sep 21, 2008 Cask gravity at SIBA BF, Paddock Wood. Pale gold, watery in mouth. Horrible. ON the turn perhaps. Just about the worst beer of an excellent festival.

Golden colour with an oily film. Very grainy and floral with a strong barnyardy earthy note. Strange whiskey note in the finish. Not great.

Jan 30, 2008 Cask. good citric and sour aroma. Hazy dark golden colour. The flavour has a good cleansing bitterness. Very good and refreshing.

Nov 19, 2007 Cask @ Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. pours a pale golden color with a small white head. Fruity malty and slightly hoppy aroma. Sweet malty bitter hoppy flavor. Sweet malty finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Oct 21, 2007 Cask conditioned at The Allied Arms, Reading, Berks. Straw colour with white head. Thin light bitter with harsh, malt notes, quite edgy in character. Some acidity and a touch of sourness. Not great.

Oct 14, 2007 Updated: Nov 16, 2007Cask at Charlie´s Bar in Copenhagen. Golden color with a small white head. Light smell of citrus, floral hops and some yeast. Light taste of fruit, citrus some sweet malt. Bitter finish. Light body and a bit to watery. Ok, but nothing more.
