Hazy golden brown with a thin but lasting white head. Slight sourness in an otherwise fairly dull lemony hop aroma. Tarty hop flavour with a hint of a possible infection due to what is almost certainly a poor effort at bottling. Pleasant enough bitter citric finish. Just a bit on the dull side. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 10, 2008 Bottle. Misty straw heaped with white. Sulphur and vague citric aroma. Grassy hop sweetness drinking like an unfiltered brewpub hell. Good bitterness, rubber, grass, lemon. Wood and biscuit. Jenners unanimously say smoke but I can’t get any(hayfever). Big biting hop IPUs nudging towards quinine. Not bad. Carlus12 (361), London, Greater London, England
