May 26, 2008 On-tap at HomeBrew Mart. Pours brown, slightly red with a moderate white head, good lace. Smells dark and malty crisp, haven’t smelled a beer quite like it, slightly sour, slightly smokey. Tastes slightly metallic, slightly like black licorice, and malty as well. Medium body with good carbonation.

Jan 27, 2008 On tap at BP. A deep deep amber pour with a cream lite tan head. Nose is caramelly sweet and solid. Very sweet front that rides the malt forevery and fades to a decent bitter. A bit thin but good carbonation is a plus. A better than average O/fest.

Jan 25, 2008 tap at brewery - Pours amber with a nice lingering head. It smells of sweet malt and has a light roasted, sweet malt flavor. It’s smooth and light to medium bodied with a little hops in the finish. Pretty good.

Nov 16, 2007 From a growler. Amber body with an ample foamy white head. Roasted malt, bread dough, toffee, and spice in the aroma and the flavor. Light-Medium body. Nothing special.
