Soild IPA. Pours hazy copper with a thin head. Aroma of citrus and a little pine. Nice malt balance, but the hops dominate. Good IPA. Refreshing.

On tap at the brewery in San Diego. Pours a crystal clear, pale golden body with a thinner, creamy white head that has a decent amount of lacing. Aroma is pretty straightforward citrus with mostly sweeter tangerines and oranges. Some nice caramels as well. Smells well balanced. Flavor is similar. Well balanced and enjoyable. Sweet piney citrus and a light, but balancing caramel. Finishes dry and goes down easy with a relatively light body. Overall, a very straightforward, but tasty and well balanced IPA. Nice one.

Pine needles, tangerine juice, and maybe something illegal from college on the nose. Pungent but not out of line. Malt and Hops are absolutely hand in hand over the tongue. Balance, balance, balance. Tough to find in a West Coast IPA I say. Dry finish is not chalky or herbaceous, but clean with a lingering sweet-spicy fade. Amazing flavor for such a low abv. 93

On tap @ Shady McGrady’s. Pours a slightly hazed amber color with a lacing white head. A good hop/citrus balance on both the nose and body. Crisp finish.

Bottle! Pours copper with a rocky cream head. Aroma is big fruit - mostly grapefruit and lemon - and sweet malt way in the background. Tastes strongly of candied citrus peel with little malt backbone. Big and unique hops taste, but a little unbalanced for me. Very refreshing and drinkable.
