rating 300. On tap at the San Diego Beer Party. Wow this is great! A fantasticly balanced IPA. Not to heavy and not overly hoppy, but still with a fair bite. I ended up having a few pints of this, rather than get in to some of the other beers available. Up there with the green flash as best IPA imho

Bottle Pours a hazy golden with a huge off white frothy head. The head seems to diminish rather quickly. The aroma is citrus hops, and some orange peel. The aroma is pleasing while I wait for the head to disapate. Has a good carbination. A fairly good mouthfeel. The flavor is hoppy with a touch of fruity sweetness. A little differnt but good. Has a light body and a watery ot oily texture. Has a pretty good finish. Not as bitter as many but still pleasing.

Glorious dark copper color with thin micro-bubble head that retains well. Nose is sharp/prickly citrus, maybe orange peel or tangerine. Enticing nose for sure. On the palate is a notable (pleasant) black Darjeeling Tea taste from the malt sweetness with an ESB-like quality to the ale. This is very clean, refreshing, with most of the hop character towards the end. Creamy characteristic across the palate. The nice head probably enhances this (good foam onto the palate at first, especially). More body than expected. Finish is firm and somewhat dry with a smooth chalky, tea-like sweetness with hop dryness. Very satisfying! One of my favorite and more unique IPA’s. Worth seeking out!

Pours golden amber with little head. Smells of astrigent hops. Not bad, but undesirable aroma. Tastes like nose and is hoppy and decent, but not great. Probably won’t buy again.

Bottle - piney, resiney, fruity. Nice sweet and bitter balance. Citrus, grapefruit-like flavors. Very nice presentation with light-head and reddish color. Above-average IPA.

Pour is a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is pure hop juice. Flavor is lots of hop resin with a subtle bitterness after the first sip. The hoppyness is almost to the point of being a double IPA without the high alcohol. Its a typical west coast IPA and that make me a happy boy.

Bottle. Pours out an orange yellowish color with a white head. Aroma: hops, pine, grass, grapefruit, citrus, touch of alcohol. Taste: bitter, smooth, easy to drink, light on the alcohol, sessionable, lively carbonation. All in all a good beer, something I would drink again, but two hearted is still much better.
