on tap at toronado san diego. noted hoppy aroma, but other than that, comes in as a rather typical west coast IPA. solidly drinkable, but forgettable. good session beer.

I am running a keg of this right now. It is quite nice. Floral grassy hops. Grapefruit, pine, orange peel. Very nice.

(Bottle, Ölbaren, Copenhagen, 13 Feb 2009) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with grapefruit, orange peel and caramel. Fruity, hoppy taste with grapefruit, orange peel and a touch of caramel. Nice and fresh citrussy hops in a finish with generous, but balanced bitterness. Medium body. Rather one-dimensional, but fresh and tasty.

Pours clear medium amber with a 3 finger creamy light tan head that has great retention and leaves a really nice amount of lacing. Aroma is lots of caramel, toffee, floral hops, citrus hops, a bit of honey, a little pine, an earthy note, toasted nutty granola, and grass. Flavor is caramel, toast, citrus, floral, mandarin orange, nutty toffee candy, bitter greens, peach and berry notes. Finishes bitter citrus, grass, burnt sugar and sweet berry like floral. Palate is medium thickness, starts slick and sweet finishes dry and somewhat sticky.

Bottle. Clear amber body with a medium off-white head. Hoppy aroma with notes of fresh grass, grapefruit, peach and caramel. Medium bodied. Flavour is hoppy as well and a good malty base with spricot and grapefruit notes. Lovely IPA.

Rest assure that this fine IPA made its way all the way to MA just in time for a winter celebration at the historic yelp and barrel in ptown. The freshness that continues to bring about a sense of flying down a mountain side with a cool river or stream by your side is immaculate. I could not ask for a more tantalizing experience.
