Oct 26, 2008 Awesome tropical fruit aroma. Mango and starfruit. Good flavor, more tropical fruits. Rich, creamy mouthfeel. Not scorchingly hoppy. Very nice.

Oct 26, 2008 Sampled from 22-oz bomber during Surly D-Day. Pours a clear copper amber brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates to a thin white ring. Aroma of citrus zest, a touch of grapefruit, light caramel and multi-grain malt with a hint of tropical fruit. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with flavors of multi-grain malt, citrus zest, a touch of grass and some pine. Finish is semi-dry with a lingering bitterness.

Oct 23, 2008 Thanks southbay. Pours a reddish copper amber with a creamy yellowish one finger head. The nose is piny, citrusy, grapefruit rind, sweet, malty, lightly earthy. The flavor is earthy, malty, piny/herbal hop grapefruit rind bitterness. The palate is waxy and has a pretty dominate bitterness.

Oct 23, 2008 Bottled (6.0%)@Konttori, Tampere. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is grass, some mild fruityness as well as mildly bready. Flavour is licorice, bigtime grass, some spices and mild fruityness. Big grassy aftertaste.

Clear amber color, small off-white head. Rye bready-hoppy, slightly yeasty aroma. Medium-bodied. Rye bready, strong hoppyness with hints of licorice. Pale malty backbone. Solid, although simple IPA.

Oct 15, 2008 Clear red tinted brown pour with a white head. Lots of floral piny hops on the nose with citrus and peach. Bitter hops with just the faintest touch of sweetness. Piny and fruity. Good balanced IPA.

Oct 14, 2008 Bottle Thanks to Robert at Stateline. Poured golden with white head, Aroma was was pne and citrus. Taste was pine citrus and nice malt balance. finished smooth. Overall an easy drinkable IPA.

Oct 9, 2008 Bottle courtesy of weeheavysd pours hazy amber/copper with thin quick diminishing white head. Aroma is pine and citrus hops. First taste is pine and citrus hops burn. Pretty strong hops flavor, not sure the IBUs are 55 seem more like 80+. Not enough malt backbone for me.
