| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 3, 2008 Bronze colored beer with a wispy head of foam that lasts well. Very nice hop aroma that gives notions of spruce, pine, lemon, hop oil....It’s pure and quite nice. Flavor is super hoppy. Big on flavor hops, but light on bitterness, not in a bad way. Woody hoppiness, with well structured notes of lemon, grapefruit, spruce and pine. Really nice beer. Beautifully hoppy and impressive. Up there with some of the best SoCal IPA’s. radiomgb (2048), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 3, 2008 Orange-copper in colour with a lingering but thin off-white coloured head, very nice lacing. The aroma is quite hoppy, floral, orange citrus, some pine and soap. The flavour was quite hoppy, high sweetness, dry, citrus and pine. Hoppy sweet mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Finishes lingering, sweet, dry and hoppy.
I liked how this dried out at the end bringing the hops to the forefront, really enjoyable.
355ml bottle obtained in a trade with JohnnyJ, thanks John.

It was hoppy and crisp with a slight bitter bite on the palate. I held off on buying this one for a while because I was unaware of the brewery. Won’t make that mistake again. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 2, 2008 Cask. Pours a cloudy dark orange, with really no head because its on cask. Smells of subtle hops, and citrus mixed together. Overall mild aroma, but thats to be a little expected here. The flavor was pretty sharp with its bitterness, graint hops leave a resin on the palate. Mildly carbonated while served almost room temp, lightly chilled. Not bad at all, just still trying to get used to cask brew. cazort (419), Newark, Delaware, USA

Very cold quality to the aroma...a piercing, clear quality. The hops definitely overpower the malt in this one. This one still comes across as somewhat light and crisp, in spite of the high alcohol content. Impressive! This is not only an excellent IPA, it has a unique character that makes it stand out from others. malrubius (1002), Valley Stream, New York, USA

Fresh hop and citrus aroma. Slightly toasted toffee malt and mild fruit with nice assertive bitterness and dry finish. Medium body and medium-low carbo. Excellent mouthfeel. Strong and sessionable. Surprisingly excellent because I was not familiar with the brewery. mtoast (306), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Big beautiful floral and tropical fruit nose, strikingly bitter flavor with a slight hint of malt. Very nice. lassem (308), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 30, 2008 Pour is Redish-golden whith a white head.. The nose is hoppy as hell and if you close your eyes you see a huge field packed with full-flowering tulips in late summer. Mouthfeel is great and is a little creamy and sparkeling. Flavour is like a typical american IPA with a strong hoppy flavour with notes of flower and cashews together with a sweet bitterness. Great beer
