Bottle. Pours a clear, golden amber with a big, fluffy off-white head/yellowish head. A bit of lacing. Heavy, dusty citrus hop aroma. Nice, but a bit too heavy. Still, very good. Flavour is sweet and cheesy hops. Has an oily feeling to it. Bitter finish with liquorice notes. Heavy as the aroma. 28-07-08.

Botella. Rating # 4000. Thanks a lot to NosirIwont. Bit unclear oranger-amber colour, medium white head leaving a great long lasting cob web lacing. Sweet piney profound hoppy aroma. Great mouthfeel. Very pleasant flavour of pine and ripe fruits with lots of hops, some caramel and toasty malt. Dry bitter hoppy long lasting finish. Great tasting IPA!

Thick and creamy beer with good hops, very grassy and citrusy. Enough hops to satisfy even me

Bomber shared by theisti. Pours a pretty golden-orange with a creamy off-white head and nice lacing. The nose is of lightly toasty caramel malt with piny and lightly fruity hops in support. Light to medium-bodied and lightly grainy with a dry, bitter finish. Hop forward with a piny, fruity front, caramel malt attempts to balance out the flavor profile. This is not what I’d call a particularly well balanced IPA, but it’s pretty good, nevertheless. Thanks again for sharing this with me, Tim.

Red pour with a medium head. Decent head retention. Very malty brown sugar aroma with a citrus hop accompaniment. Very earthy hop taste accompanied by a tart, grainy background. Really kind of offputting. Drain pour.

22 oz bottle purchased at Metcalf Discount Liquors on 91st Street in Overland Park, KS. Pour is orange ruby with a 2 inch off white head. Really thick pretty lacing. This beer was very pretty in my tulip glass. Aroma is piney hoppiness and some bright citrus hops. Oranges, kiwi, lemons, and a touch of grapefruit. No malt detected. Nice nose. Taste is earthy, mineral, piney hoppiness and a decent citrus blast. Really no malt to speak of, but this beer is about the hops. Palate is thin to medium. Drinkable and flavorful. Its nice to have a hop bomb like this locally available for when I am in the mood for this sort of thing.

Quite a good IPA here. Pours a deep orange-amber into the glass, with a small cap that diminishes to a thin ring, leaving nice soapy lace. A large amount of citrus and pine comes through in the floral bouquet. The flavors, impeccably balanced, weave a blend of soft caramel malt, citrus and rind zest, some grapefruit and moderately peppering bitters. The finish lasts nicely, bringing back grapefruit and zest, closing with lingering pine resin. Everything about this brew is refreshing and clean. The mouthfeel is crisp and quaffable, with well-integrated carbonation levels. Very fine example of the style, and I’m so glad I picked up a case to enjoy for some time to come. Superb.
