Long lasting white head with some good lace. This thing must have been filter to death. Pretty good blend of hops in the nose. Pine and citrus of course. It doesn’t blow your head off. There’s a decent layer of malt layer there as well. Cookie-ish. The flavor is more to the pine side of hops. Well balanced with a perfect malt base. Plenty bitter with out ripping you tongue to shreds. Medium/full body. A little bit oily. Fairly dry finish. Average carbonation. Very good. A real value at less than 5 dollars a bomber. I’d be more likely to buy again in 12 ounce bottles. cab (863), Denmark

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 17, 2008 22 oz. bottle from Pacific Liquor on El Cajon Blvd. I’ll admit I’m a bit biased because these guys sell me my homebrew supplies, but nonetheless, this is really an awesome IPA. Earthy malt base with piney and citrusey floral hop overtones. The aroma is somewhat astringent but the wonderfully complex floral and citrus scents compensate for this. It has a nice amber/copper appearance with good head and lacing. The flavor is strong but not overwhelming. The finish is an aggressive, lingering bitterness but very pleasant. jason (1624), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 15, 2008 Bottle. Poured a deep copper body with thin head. Aroma is citrus hops, grass. Flavor is light citrus and a heavy sweet malty taste. The malt overwhelmes this one. A tad rough at times. cellar (503), Dublin, Ireland

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 3, 2008 Aroma was full of fresh hops as if I just pulled them out of my own hops freezer very floral and a little spicy. Poured deep golden with 1 finger of white head that laced nicely on the glass. Flavor was not as enjoyable as aroma. Really grassy and a little garlicy, but it had gotten better by the end of the glass and was more citrus tasting. mouthfeel was oliy and fully. a decent ipa.
