What a beautiful beer, in every sense of the word. Looks stunning in the glass, deep orange/amber with cream coloured thick foamy head which persists down the glass. Aroma is grapefruit and freshly baked biscuits. Flavour is the same, but is far from one dimensional. There’s depth here, and I just can’t get over how fresh this beer tastes. The finish goes on forever, and the sweet malts really make themselves known, but the perfect bitterness balances well. Just a great beer.

Great IPA that’s all citrus. Stood up nicely to a much hoppier beer I was drinking right next to it. A very simple IPA but one that’s clean and pungent and full of great hoppy bitterness.

great example of a simple single hopped ipa with a great result! not complicated, not strong, just really showcases the hops and the brewmasters skill. excellent! perfect session beer for geeks, and actually attainable(unlike the sculpin)!

Hoppy and everlasting on the palate. A good looking amber with a head that doesn’t disperse for a while. Good but not very strong at 6% AC.

Nice hop flavor, but not quite bitter enough and the hop profile doesn’t linger enough for my tastes.

Nice surprise on this one. Huge grapefruit and orange flavor with some pine hops. Lightly bitter, with lots of caramel malts to balance. Nicely dry finish that lingered for a while. Not the most bitter IPA out there. Medium bodied and medium carboantion. Very drinkable. Strong aroma similar to the flavor.

Bottle at GBBF 2009. Copper coloured pour with decent white head. Hoppy aroma. Lingering bitterness, citrus fruit, hoppy, dry, refreshing.
