This was pretty damn cool, the dude at the brewery said it was basically the yellowtail, and they tossed in a ton of berries and something to make it acidic. It had some cool fruit tangy qualities to it, but damn was is watery. Pretty damn cool though for just makin a beer for the hell of it. I respect that and this beer.

This is an experimental ale from Ballast Point with blackberries and aged in oak barrels. Pours clear amber-burgandy color with virtually no head. Aroma is light and fruity. Flavor is dominated by the blackberries and oak notes, tart and tannic, unusual but not unpleasant. Refresing medium-light body with prickly carbonation.
