| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 20, 2008 a hoppier amber than i expected (last one i had is Slo Brewing’s Amber), but still good; like an american pale ale trying to be an amber... overall not what i want, but drinkable, of course; the pine and grapefruit overwhelmed me and i felt like i was trying to taste two different styles--how about some different hops to let out the malts? eaglefan538 (2399), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 17, 2008 Bottle from doubleo. Pour was typical for the style nice head and lacing, amber in color. The aroma was caramel and some piney type hopes. The flavor was caramel, piney hops, some citrus, and some bittering hops too. A touch of earthiness helps keep the finish dry, clean, pretty drinkable, although the body was rather full for an amber. Thanks, Kyle! robforbes (1105), Bremerton, Washington, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 27, 2008 At BP. An amber pour with a nice tan head and lace. Very nice clean hops aroma controls the nose. Hops power the flavor whti hints of caramelly malt. Carbonation a litte hot and palate just a tad thin. I thought this was an amber as I rated it and thought man this is the way all ambers should be. My last note was: More hops than the ambers I’m used to I think everyone should use’em like this:) rudolf (1784), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 26, 2008 Bottle via homebrew swap. Thanks! Lightly cloudy orange/amber, thin white head. Nose is fruit, dusty malt, almost rye. Ice tea hops, malt. Flavor is fruity & malt, bitter but not quite burnt. Lemon/citrus iced tea. Sweetness grows in the finish. patrick767 (2051), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 26, 2008 tap at the brewery - Pours amber and smells pretty hoppy for an amber ale. I see ratebeer has it as an ESB. hmm... ok. Again I’m not sure we should differ from what the experienced brewers think their beer is. But anyway.... the flavor has caramel malt and ample hops that give it a touch of citrus. It’s fairly light and smooth and has an excellent balance. Overall it’s a good session brew.
