Great color, medium pine & yeast aroma. Nicely-done balance on flavors, modest hop bitterness that finishes clean and crisp with sweet & spicy notes. Very seshful. jarspag (600), Los Angeles, California, USA

Highly recommended. Reminds me of a amber/pale ale combo FezMonkey (268), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 2, 2007 This is a great amber which sees regular rotation in slot #2 on my keggerator. Easy to drink and helps keep your head on your shoulders for prolonged beer drinking sessions. The flavor is nice and hoppy for an amber, but not enough to venture into the pale ale realm. Clean, crisp finish. If you drink this, a winner is you. bhensonb (4371), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 25, 2007 Aroma of malt, citrus and a bit of vanilla. Seems floral. Copper color with a vigorous beige head. Starts a bit thin, with malt quickly followed by citrus hop. Somewhat creamy. The citrus accompanies the malt through the finish. Really nice ESB.
