Appearance: Copper to amber in color clear with minimal white head.
Flavor: Malty sweetness with a pronounced bittering from hops
Palate: mediun body even texture average carbonation abrupt dry finish.
Overall: I beer I really enjoy excellent matchup on the hops and malt, almost a dusseldorf alt style with the addition of American hops. Description stated ESB and I can agree with that good to great beer. Storm (2685), Amager, Denmark

Clear, red-copper with a wispy head. Piney aroma with diacetyley caramel. The flavour is a nice hoppy pine with sigificant bitterness both in balance with malt sweetness and flavour. Medium body and lingering bitterness. 5000 (2600), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 26, 2005 Bottle: Amber in color, large off-white head, foamy, wonderful lacing, mild carbonation.   Malty aroma, subtle graininess.   Rich maltiness, again with a very subtle grainy factor.   Underlying hop bite that balances well with the malts.   Body and mouthfeel are fairly average.   Lingering bitterness well after the finish.   Clean, and a solid example of the style.   Would love it more had it been a touch thicker.   Thanks Stephen for the bottle!
