It is beautiful, red amber with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, citrus and light spruce. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of caramel, malt, hint of licorice, citrus and other fruits. The finish is dry and has a light bitterness.

Flaske. Mørk ravfarvet øl. Kraftig maltduft med et strejf af humle. Smagen er igen domineret af den kraftige malt, men humlen bakker den godt op. Ikke min type øl men bestemt vellavet.

Mmmm. Pours very nicely. Dark amber with a whitish head. The flavor is very rich but not overpowering. Palate is really nice, goes down so smooth.

12oz bottle from grape & gourmet. pours a very pleasing cherry wood color with a half-inch white head and light lacing. aroma is sweet, roasty, caramel malts with a bit of toast, bright citrus hops, and red berries. flavor is big, slightly sweet dark malts with a very dry citrus hop profile late in the swallow, red apple, and some pine with a lingering, dry finish. palate is medium bodied with a smooth, but slightly watery mouthfeel and good carbonation. overall, a well balanced, very drinkable amber.

12oz bottle. Pours a light red, coppery color with a thick off white head. Nose is carmel malt with some light dry hop notes and a little dirt. Palate is medium and sticky with a bitter, stingy finish. Flavor is full caramel malt with some light hop notes and a hint of sweetness. Quite dry and actually leaves the mouth fairly sticky and filmy.

Bottle at Ølbaren, Copenhagen
Hazy amber color, ordinary head. Good caramel and hop aroma; the body is thinner than expected, but still with a quite good hopping.

Pours a good-looking head. Dies quickly, leaving a foamy coating in the glass. Brown amber body. Nice malty aroma as I’d expect form an amber. Flavor is awesome with lots of malt, with a hops chaser that becomes more pronounced the longer you let it sit on your palate. Body is thin with lots of carbonation. A very nice Amber!
