Pours deep clear amber into a snifter. Off-white head pancakes and recedes to spot surface leaving slight spiders. Strong pine resin and grapefruit aromas. Sweet full honey upfront turning crisp then syrupy. Lasting resin finish. A sipper.

Bottle shared with MaltOMeal. Thanks, Bill! Pours a thick and vivacious cheddar orange with a healthy head of foam. Aroma is spicy malt grapefruit, with just a smidgen of pine and orange. Flavor is a mouth-puckering assault of grapefruit, spicy grain, and pine. Tingly and pleasant on the tongue. One of the truly great IPAs.

22oz. Bottle: Aroma of hops, grapefruit, pine, hop juice, toasted malts, slight tangerine, and citrus. Poured amber/orange in color with a large, creamy, dense, rocky, off-white head that lasted throughout. Clear. Lightly sparkling. Very good to excellent lacing. Lightly sweet, medium to heavily bitter. Tastes of hops, pine, orange, slight caramel, grapefruit, tangerine, hop oil, and a hint of honey. Medium body. Oily, slightly sticky, slightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Slightly sweet, medium bitter, hop oil and citrus-fruit finish is lightly dry. 9.6%ABV is very well hidden.

bomber from CBX. pours a gorgeous golden, amber color with a thin, foamy off white head and excellent lacing. aroma is absolutely amazing. huge citrus hops dominated by grapefruit and tangerine with big scents of peach, strawberry, mango, spicy pine, flowers, and just a hint of malt sweetness. flavor is an amazing, huge, explosion of delicious citrus hops, pine, tropical fruits, and apricot, backed by huge, sweet, caramel malts and lovely alcohol warmth. finish is deliciously bitter with floral and earthy tones. mouthfeel is perfectly balanced, medium bodied, sticky, and effortless to drink. i thought sculpin was great, but this one is on another level. great beer.

Bottle. I was glad to have found this, this has been on the old want list for a while now. Pours out a brownish color with a chunky white head on it. Smell is full of hops, citrus, grass, pine, grapefruit, awesome! Taste is very similar with a giant kick of hops. Very bitter, overly bitter, like they are trying to make it bitter. But it works because there is a nice little malt backbone to help it. Really good beer, damn good actually.
