very juicy--wow; reminiscent of DH’s 90; contained aroma--sweet and floral notes with alcohol in the nose; the flavor is huge--great balance among saltiness, sweetness, and bitterness--floral, caramel, and buttery notes; great brew!

Not sure what year this bottle was, but figure it was at least a year old, thanks footbalm! - Pours a murky orange with a small white head...aroma is dominates with sweet, fruity malt, grapefruit hops...flavour has I assume mellowed with some time in the bottle, smooth hops, honey, peach...malts and hops existing in harmony with mutual respect for one another, humanity take note...I’m sure this was meant to drink fresh, but was just great as is...still nicely bitter, this was well put together...

Bottle, about as fresh as I could get on the east coast. Pours a nice deep golden body with a cream white head with great retention. Lots of lacing in the glass. Aromas of pine and wet falls leaves and a hint of all spice or cloves. Not sure which one but their was a very faint spicy note that added an almost wild yeasty character to a generally clean hoppy aroma. Flavors of grapefruit, pine, citrus peel and sweet sticky malts. How I long for that pure and unrelentless west coast hop profile. The pallate, as expected, was bitter and dry and as it warmed the alcohol really starts to show its face. Such a great brew.

Seductive nose of fresh citrus an earthy hop spice. Wow! Eventually the olfactories detect a warming malt presense forming the platform for the hop symphony. The delicate malt entry is quickly jumped in line by an utterly amazing hop complexity. Layers of hop flavors form a veritable essay on American hop varieties. While one could go on and on about the continuing wave of flavors this brew reveals with each sip, the structure bares the beauty. As the mid-palate elates with a seamless hop crescendo the body curves in a seductive finish. Caressing the tongue and gums this beauty leaves the room with a kind word and a hug. Left is a pleasant hop spice that lingers between the teeth and on the cheeks. As well crafted as any I have had. Watch out Dreadnaught. Enjoyed from a big ass wine glass. Not too chilly please.

Bomber shared with DuffmanSW. Pours a sparkling copper with a 1 inch off-white head. Very strong and fresh floral and citrus aroma with a caramel background. Flavor is maybe a touch too sweet, but the fantastic display of hops makes up for it. Grassy, floral, grapefruit and orange, and plenty of caramel/honey sweetness. Thick on the palate and oily with a long bitter finish. Very fresh, very nice.

On tap at brewpub. Poured a dark gold color, close to amber. Nice looking. ARoma of almost woodlike BO, with mesquite/wood, citrus, caramel, and grapefruit. Flavor reminded me alot of Hopnotic, from SDBC, but this one had a bit more quality in my opinion. Citrus, pine, wood/earth, resin. Nice stuff.

Bottle 65 cl. Average off-white foamy head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Hazy amber color. Aroma was heavy notes of floral, perfume, grapefruit, caramel, grain, mild fruit and a hint of grassy notes. Over the palate came oily and citrus liken feel combined with notes of perfume, grapefruit and good counter toasted malt and caramel. Full bodied with an average carbonation and dry oily texture. Heavy bitter and good counter sweet flavor. Lingering bitter dry perfume like floral finish.

Bomber. Big thanks to Doubleo for this one. Pours hazy golden orange with thick cream head. Aroma is sweet malt, citrus and hop resin with some light pine. Flavor is of sweet malts, bitter and resin hops, citurs, pine and candied sugar. Lots of sweet malt but may be due to this brew being over a year old. Still good amount of hops for age. Would love to re-rate fresh. Still a good IIPA.
