Bottled. Hazy amber colour, mediumsized head. Aroma is fruity and flowery hops along with some wood. Flavour is pineapple, peach and some mild flowery notes to balance it up. Long wooden bitterness in the aftertaste along with some mild sweetish fruits.

Bottle 0.65 l. Rich aroma with hints of different hops and ripe fruits (plums and raisins). Characteristic unclear orange colour with white head. Very dry, bitter flavour from the many hops, but also elegantly sweetened. Long dry aftertaste with a sens of hay or grass.

Thanks to Dunk for this one. 22oz. Poured golden amber with a nice lacy white head. Aromas are very strong of hops, citrus, and pine. Smells like a awesome DIPA. Flavor is intense with sweet malts, piney hops, and nice well balanced mouth feel. An outstanding brew and just a wonderful DIPA.

Bottle courtesy of WeeHeavySD. Pours a bright hazy golden orange with a fluffy white one-finger head that lingers for a while and leaves impressive lacing. The aroma is massive and very sweet. It has an array of citrus hop aromas, grapefruits, oranges, tangerines, as well as sweet honey and caramel overtones. There is also some pine hops as well on top of a bready malt aroma in the background. The taste mirrors the aroma with a huge grapefruit sweetness up front with a strong malt backbone. The finish has a good bit of floral pine hop bitterness and lingers between sips. The mouthfeel is sticky with good carbonation and slightly dry in the finish. This is a great West Coast DIPA and I look forward to having more of these in the future. Highly recommended!

RBSG 2008, from the bottle at the brewery. Pours gold, very clear, with a smooth white head. Pine and sawdust in the hop nose, sort of resiny/earthy quality to it. Flavor showed a bit more citrus, hints of grapefruit come through in the finish. Crisp and refreshing double IPA.

[1507-20080704] 22floz bottle. Orange pine resin aroma has a touch of sweet citrus. Hazy, medium orange body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Orange citrus flavour has some pine resin but is mostly bittersweet seeds. Medium body is bitter. Generally well-balanced.
