Bottle. A amber beer with a big white head. The aroma is sweet malty with fresh hoppy grapefruit notes. The taste is sweet malty, some caramel, but lots of hops, grapefruit/peach. Medium body with a long hoppy finish.

Bomber. Poured a fiery, lighter shade of orange with a nice cap of orangey-beige head. The aroma picked up huge doses of tangerines and English-inspired floral hoppage upfront with juicy pears, peppery spices, and a touch of alcohol warmth coming shortly afterward.. aggressive, but well-executed. The flavor had even more tangerine, in both core sweetness and zesty surrounding bitterness.. alcohol-fueled pine also surround, and this leaves a warm, resiny citrus finish. Heavier-bodied with an OK flow across the palate.. a hair too sharp on the finish. Overall a very good brew!

The Dorado pours a deep reddish gold with a dense white head. The aroma is intensely hoppy. Warm spicy pine, floral and citrus notes dominate with undertones of caramel and a hint of the alcohol to come. Upon tasting it is immediately evident that this is a very big beer. Starting with a bold hoppiness, full of grapefruit associations. A discreet sweetness from the malt in the background and enough carbonation to bring it’s full mouthfeel to life. Finally finishing in a balancing stroke of bitterness. The hop notes lingering in the mouth for severeal mouth for several minutes, as a reminder of the glorious flavors this little flower offers.

22oz bottle(courtesy of doubleo)-An orangish amber body with a nice full head and an aroma of hops, citrus, and more hops. Taste from this medium to full bodied brew is of hops, hops, hops, and malt. Very well blended along with a dry finish. A great tasting Double IIPA.

Orangish to amber in color with a nice head. Aromas are extremely hoppy and that extends into the taste but the hops are refreshing and nice.

burnt orange pour. frothy white head that left lacing indefinitely -- well, until I washed the glass anyway. aroma of hops, grapefruit, lemon, pineapple and malt. toasted grain up front then citrus and grass. finished with a hot hop bitterness. Not my favorite DIPA, but a fine beer.

Thanks to hummm....forget who I got this from someone in the SD area. Pours out a nice copper color with a moderate slightly off white head. Aroma is of grapefruit and citrus hops, slight malt. Taste is hoppy, citrus and grapefruit being dominant, slight malty taste for balance. Very solid double IPA....gets another impression point for the label, dorado (dolphin) is a great fish to catch and eat.
