mgumby10 (1642), West Palm Beach, Florida, USA Aug 31, 2008 Draft at the brewery. Pours a dark gold color, with a small off white head. Smells of citric hops and light malts combined. The hop character was pretty profoundi nthe flavor which was nice. Got some good grapefruit citrus mixed in as well to give it some depth. Very simple and easy drinking pale ale. Little hop bitterness in the clean finish. Pretty decent. maniac (1976), Richmond, Virginia, USA Aug 29, 2008 On tap at Ballast Point during the RBSG Pub Crawl Tour on 08/01/2008. Medium light body with moderate carbonation. gotbeach (121), San Diego, California, USA Aug 13, 2008 RBSG08 tap. Amber pour with nice dim. head. Fruit, hop, citrus. There is an "airy" dryness to it which is very light and easy to drink with nice flavors. beerguy101 (3478), Newark, California, USA Aug 10, 2008 Tasted on tap at brewery during the RBSG 2008. This pale ale pours a medium amber color from the tap. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is grapefruity and floral. A medium to lighter bodied Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are grapefruity and citrusy. A touch of peach as well. Light and refreshing. Good flavors, at 3.5% alcohol this would be a great session ale. I could see drinking this on the porch on a warm summer afternoon. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. yespr (6374), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 6, 2008 From tap at the brewery. Pours clear and golden orage with a lacing white head. Dense hoppy and smooth aroma. Peachy and light grapefruity hops flavour. Smooth and crisp hoppy for flavour. Mild caramel malt base presence. Light crisp and flavourful finish. Lovely.
