There is an "airy" dryness to it which is very light and easy to drink with nice flavors. beerguy101 (3907), Newark, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 10, 2008 Tasted on tap at brewery during the RBSG 2008. This pale ale pours a medium amber color from the tap. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is grapefruity and floral. A medium to lighter bodied Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are grapefruity and citrusy. A touch of peach as well. Light and refreshing. Good flavors, at 3.5% alcohol this would be a great session ale. I could see drinking this on the porch on a warm summer afternoon. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. yespr (12173), Copenhagen O, Denmark

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 2, 2008 Draft at RBSG. Pours a golden amber with a dissipating white head. Great floral hop aroma. Light to medium bodied. Flavor of pale malts and dry biscuit, countered by a nice aggressive citrus and spicy bitterness. Finish is grassy, semi dry and hoppy. Great concept and great beer. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 17, 2008 On cask at the PP Real Ale Fest. Pours a mostly transparent, honey gold color with a thick head of sudsy white. Clean, refreshing hop aromas of citrusy lemon blossoms and a hint of caramel malt. Simple, but extremely clean with a really fresh hop aroma. Light bodied, creamy mouthfeel with a soft, cask-typical carbonation level. Bready malt flavors with a hint of caramel up front on the palate, followed by a wave of fresh, floral, lemon blossom hops. Wonderfully refreshing and clean for a low ABV beer; completely devoid of the cereal-like grainy malts, astringency, or naked yeast byproducts that often pollute beers in this weight class. Quaffable, and flavorwise, enjoyable enough on cask for me to seek out several pulls. This was the highlight of the RA festival offerings for me. wetherel (1619), Encinitas, California, USA
