Jun 27, 2009 Draft at the brewery. An unclear amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of grass and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of grass, elderberries, and lots of hay, leading to a dry and very bitter finish. The body is light.

Aug 6, 2008 From tap at the brewery. Pours clear and golden orage with a lacing white head. Dense hoppy and smooth aroma. Peachy and light grapefruity hops flavour. Smooth and crisp hoppy for flavour. Mild caramel malt base presence. Light crisp and flavourful finish. Lovely.

May 15, 2008 Light amber colour. Fresh, floral aroma evokes tropical fruits. Not bad body for a low alcohol beer. Lots of bitterness and tropical fruit flavour. I like the concept of the San Diego Session, and this one is done very well.

Aug 20, 2009 (Draught) Pours a clear burnt orange body with a small off-white head. Aroma of citrus, caramel, parsley, and grass. Flavor of hops (pine, orange, grass) and caramel malt with a bitter finish.

Jan 14, 2008 on tap-pours a white head with bubbles and cloudy yellow color. Aroma is nice citrus hops-lemon. Taste is nice citrus hops-lemon, faint light malt.

Apr 22, 2008 Draught Small, off-white head over amber-orange ale. Hops, C-hops, but in a discreet citrussy aroma; as well as green apple ester. Very smoky taste, hopscake - even a lot. Cigarette ashes it really are. Quite a lot of taste for such a low-alcohol beer (the brewery blackboard said 3.5 percent!), but the finish is a bit watery after all, and it is discreet - maybe too discreet, but indeed a very flavourful "session"beer.

Nov 28, 2008 Tap at the tasting room. Very pale straw-coloured beer. Aroma is lightly citrusy with a light orange peel flavour. A little bit of honeyish sweetness to the malts with a lingering fruity flavour on the back. Easy to knock back... a pretty solid session beer.
