Aroma has a lot of fresh grapefruity and piny hops with some sweet caramel malt. Body starts sweet and caramely viscous with a good fresh flavor and bittering hoppy presence. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 24, 2008 Draught. ??My notes, taken from the blackboard, talk about Fathom IPA?? Good yellow head, leaving some lace: pale orangey beer. Very grapey, dry hops, bit salty/oystershell (high DMS?), fruity end. Dry hops, less bitter than expected, orange marmalade and a pinch of quinine. Medium bodied, slick, some alcohol ’t would seem. Good, if unspectacular. If it is really a lager, then it would be spectacular indeeed. goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 9, 2008 Tap @ Hams. Pours yellow with a bright white head. Nose is light and relatively hoppy. The taste is hoppy and pretty bitter with a resin character. A bit too bitter for my palate. Also my first beer back from being sick. BMan1113VR (2943), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 15, 2009 On tap with the brewer. Clear golden, resiliant head. Aroma is herbacious and slightly citrus. Earthy with a touch of toffee. Taste is citrus andherbal. Crisp and good! Light caramel table sugar malt background. Could have fooled me as a real hop forward IPA. Crisp, medium carb, good!
