ballast 13th anny, currant, and geuze were on draft too. This was a big sour sour. Didn’t have the complexity of the other 2 but still a really nice brew. Wish these aren’t so rare. Carb on this was less than the other 2 but it worked because the sourness was powerful. Little funk and the cherry fruit was nice. Color was a touch cloudy. Awesome rare treat.

A beet red lambic with no head. In aroma, a nice lambic with light Brett notes, a bit of lactic acids, ground cherries. In mouth, a nice and simple cherry lambic with light baryard notes, some buttery notes, not bad but a bit underwelming. On tap at Ballast Point 13 Anniv. Beer Festival , Oct. 24 2009.

Stone Sour Fest 2009 Poured a dark red. Nose was mostly sweet cherries and a little bid of acid. Taste is very big with cherries and earthy flavors. Tastes of wood, toasted nuts, and of course sweet and tart cherries.

On tap at Stone Sour Fest 09. Dark red pour. Sour cherries, malt, light bread, fruity sweetness, and some barnyard funk. Mmm good.

Tap at Stone Sour Fest 2009. Pours deep dark red. Mild tartness with nutty aftertaste that is quite unique. Really good.
