| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 26, 2008 On tap at OBriens 2008 Wet Hop Festival weekend, alongside many other fine wet hop ales. Backlogged rating. Cloudy white-yellow appearance. Aroma is light grapefruit citrus. Weaker flavor that leans towards a spicy, hoppy lager. Kind of a lackluster finish. Crisp palate, however, that makes the overall experience more enjoyable. JoeMcPhee (5030), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 27, 2008 Cask at Hamilton’s. Hazy pale yellow colour. Aroma is fairly hoppy. Nice orange/grapefruity sweetness over a soft wheaty base. Quite spicy and herbal character behind all the sweet hoppiness. Flavour is nicely spicy. Some light lemony character behind the more typical orange/grapefruit. Low bitterness but lots of spicy wheaty flavour. Sort of an interesting IPA/wit combo. This was a light yet crisp straw golden colored ale with a thick development of head. There was a very evident nose of pine and citrus hops which could be said too about the flavor. Refreshing, crisp, clean, and mildly hoppy sum up this beer according to my definition.
