On tap at PP Carlsbad. Hazy golden orange pour, creamy white head. Citrus, candy sugar, fruit, grass, fresh hops, and grapefruit. Pretty sweet for a fresh hop pale. Good beer.

On tap at Obriens. Clear light orange with thick frothy head. Nose is citrus and fruity candy. Flavor is bubblegum, cotton candy with sweetbread malts, powdered sugar, pineapple-tropical fruit, finishes sweet. Medium body and carbonation. Very easy drinking and sweetly flavored IPA, bursting with flavors, low on hop bitterness

Served from tap at the brewery. Appearance is pale gold with a good sized white head. The aromas and flavors are muted grass and earth tones.

This was the dry hop version on nitro@the Scripps Ranch Brewery: Pour is a hazy pale golden color with a creamy cascading white head. Aroma is citrusy. Flavor started caramel sweet followed by some citrus bitterness, a light grassy flavor and a light dry orangy finish. Medium body is creamy with mild carbonation.

Light malty sweetness in the nose, earthy hop notes. Pours golden wreamy with a nice nitro head. The flavor is lightly sweet with a hint of grain and a moderate fresh hop presence. Dry leafy and a little earthy. Nice creamy blonde ale.

On tap at OBriens 2008 Wet Hop Festival weekend, alongside many other fine wet hop ales. Backlogged rating. Cloudy white-yellow appearance. Aroma is light grapefruit citrus. Weaker flavor that leans towards a spicy, hoppy lager. Kind of a lackluster finish. Crisp palate, however, that makes the overall experience more enjoyable.

Cask at Hamilton’s. Hazy pale yellow colour. Aroma is fairly hoppy. Nice orange/grapefruity sweetness over a soft wheaty base. Quite spicy and herbal character behind all the sweet hoppiness. Flavour is nicely spicy. Some light lemony character behind the more typical orange/grapefruit. Low bitterness but lots of spicy wheaty flavour. Sort of an interesting IPA/wit combo.

On tap at O’briens wet hop festival. This was a light yet crisp straw golden colored ale with a thick development of head. There was a very evident nose of pine and citrus hops which could be said too about the flavor. Refreshing, crisp, clean, and mildly hoppy sum up this beer according to my definition.
