Poured slightly hazy golden yellow with a white one-finger head and ok lacing. Sweetish caramel malt aromas. Malt flavors up front subsided and gave way to subtle grassy hops. Medium carbonation, and just a touch of sweetness in the aftertaste.

Dec 13, 2009 Bottle. Malty sweet vegtable and cookies tasting base with a fresg american citrus hop touch in the finish. Kind of reminds me of the refreshing golden ales that Harviestoun produces. Nice american version of the Kölsch-style. Simple, elegant and unique.

Dec 4, 2009 Pour is a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is kinda citrus and grain. Deffinatly no hops show up. Flavor is again a little citrus, grain with an ever small hop profile. It says pale ale on the bottle and kolsch on here and i agree this is more a kolsch, an average one at best.

Nov 29, 2009 Bottle. Pours clear, pale golden with a minimal head. Aroma consists of bread, citrus, and a bit of leather. Tastes somewhat sour and lightly bitter with a crisp and minimal finish.

Nov 29, 2009 12 oz bottle. Orange-golden pour with a medium fizzy white head. Aroma of grass and floral hops. Thin, almost watery body. Sharp taste of malt and floral hops with a slightly stale grainy finish. Average pale.

Nov 15, 2009 Pours a hazy yellow. Crisp fruity and herbal aroma. Grassy malt smell in the background. Taste is fruit, sweet, floral, and crisp hops. Light/medium mouthfeel with decent carbonation. Very drinkable.

Nov 3, 2009 Bottle: Hazy golden with a dense white film that retains well. Biscuity, buttery malt aroma with a light honeyish presence and some subtle flowery hop notes. Crisp light body- a bit sweet in the flavor, especially for the style. Some mildly buttery pale malts and a touch of biscuity character. Some herbal honeysuckle like flowery hops. Simple and not much like the original style. It’s not clean enough and is slightly under-attenuated for the style.
