Commercial Description:
A lager beer produced using pale barley malt, rice and exclusive varieties of hops which give this beer variety its inimitable aroma, very light and velvety flavor and pleasant bitterness of hops. The addition of rice provides No2 Pale with a surprisingly fresh taste and smoothness, and for these reasons it is easy to drink.
The ingredients are water, pale barley malt, select rice and hops.
Produced since 2004. 11°

Pours a three finger white head that fades quickly to a thin layer leaving a some lace. Clear paleish amber color. Light carbonation and light-medium bodied. Slight skunky nose. Starts balanced, seems to have a slight corn/rice/hop flavor - boring. Best before 4/4/2006 but I don’t think it mattered. $1.95 for a 500ml bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.

Bottled. Pale golden and a small white head. Aroma is quite boring, with malt, hops and grass, and the flavor isn’t much better. Some sweetness, malt, grass and light spicey hops. Thin body and some metallic notes in the finish. (060518)

50 cl bottle. Golden clear colour with a litle white head. Sweet malty aroma with a touch of hops. Light sweet malty flavour with notes of hops. Very easy-drinking, but someway dull and average.

Poured with a head that left quickly. Pretty clear light gold color.Abit of sweetness, but not too bad, actually a decent drink, wasn’t expecting to like it at all, but enjoyed it, light, mild, but very drinkable.
