Commercial Description:
A lager beer produced using pale barley malt, rice and exclusive varieties of hops which give this beer variety its inimitable aroma, very light and velvety flavor and pleasant bitterness of hops. The addition of rice provides No2 Pale with a surprisingly fresh taste and smoothness, and for these reasons it is easy to drink.
The ingredients are water, pale barley malt, select rice and hops.
Produced since 2004. 11°

Almost clear in color with a small white head. Not much aroma. This Russian beer with plenty of rice seems very much like it’s American counter part, Bud.

Bottle and marked best before 21.11.05. Thanks to patrick767 for sharing this beer. Small white head that mostly diminished, minimal lacing, no visible carbonation, transparent, and a yellow golden hue. Malty, some hoppy notes and some fruit notes. Ditto for the flavor with some sweetness and dryness noted. Mouthfeel was smooth and dry. Light body.

Your typical lager. I was fooled by the BevMo description. Bready aroma and palate, but otherwise ho-hum. I don’t see myself revisiting this one again.

Bottle from BevMo. Pours a medium golden color with a white head. Aroma is grainy and slightly skunky. Somewhat bready in flavor. Some grainy bitterness. Not too bad, just a boring pale lager in a green bottle.
