Oct 20, 2008 Christ, this is poor. No aroma, typical lager appearance, apart from an initial sweetness there’s no flavour, bland on the palate. Undistinguished. It’s a sad comment on some of the world’s brewers that this is not the worst beer I’ve ever had.

Oct 16, 2008 Finally I tried the lager beer of Baltika (3). I expected a much better beer after having the baltika 6 (porter). However all I tasted was an average , unispired lager.

Oct 3, 2008 Not a bad beer, clean and crisp. OK, you can call me nuts but I find this beer very similar to Heineken. Actually I like it better, I think it has a much better finish.

Sep 25, 2008 Bottle from BevMo Mission Valley. Bright yellow with white head. Aromas of sweet malt. Flavors to match, very easy drinking beer, not a lot going on. Almost like water with a touch of malt extract added. Clean finish.

Sep 1, 2008 Bottle. Pours a fairly clean and clear yellow with a big frothy head. The aroma is a bit astringent at first, but some grassy hops are present. As the beer warms a touch, the aroma mellows and the astringency is replaced by a sweet grainy/corn note. This beer has the standard euro lager kind of flavor - a mix of cereal grains and grassy hops. All that being said, I have had far worse euro lagers, but this one falls about perfectly average.
