As bad as a Budweiser or Tsingtao on the blandness front, but because i’m a snob and i like something about the branding, and because it’s not quite as bad as those beers, then it comes slightly above them my list. - similar to poretti. themadmumis (344), Westminster, Maryland, USA

Sweet and sour nose of canned corn, notes of apple cider and some malty bitterness. Inoffensive, and for my first Russian beer, certainly drinkable. TheJester (716), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 19, 2006 500 mL bottle. Gold with decent head. To quote the last guy, "faint sweetish grassy aroma with apple notes." An inoffensive lager - no corn! A little sweeter than others, perhaps. Not much finish. A lager that would be welcome on the dock if served icy cold. larsga (2980), Oslo, Norway
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Sep 15, 2006 Small white head quickly shrinks into thin white ring. Light yellow body with ongoing carbonation. Faint sweetish grassy aroma with apple notes. Taste is grainy apple with strong grassy notes. Some chalk. Dry, papery aftertaste. Unpleasant papery bitterness settles in the mouth. The initial taste is the best thing about this. Not so good. (0.5l bottle.) dj (422), Gloucestershire, England
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 7, 2006 Bottle, 500ml, 5.1% ABV. A pale yellow colour with a medium-sized head that diminishes to nothing. Light aroma of hops and honey. A well-balanced taste of hops and malt with some caramel and bread/yeast. A hoppy, citrus finish. Moderate carbonation. Quite pleasant and easy to drink. DruncanVeasey (2753), The Penguin’s Arms, Europe, Warwickshire, England
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Aug 29, 2006 Slightly offensive sardine tin-aroma. Smells like a budget tinned lager. Body golden and spritzy, with a generously billowy head. At first. Flavour thin and grassy, with a dash of chemical bitterness. If I’d paid 60cents for this in a Greek supermarket, I’d be disappointed. Quite an unpleasant experience.
