Aug 4, 2005 (500ml bottle, dated 02.04.06) Crystal clear pale straw body topped by a big white head. Aroma is medium sweet, grainy, light grassy, faint apple. Taste is medium sweet, bread, cereal. Minimal bitterness. Watery light body, no crispness. Not offensive, just bleah.

Aug 3, 2005 pours golden with a decent sized white head, aromas of corn & malt, taste is also corn-like comparable to most american premium lagers, nothing great, but not horrible.

Aug 1, 2005 I had a beer in the Moscow in 1981 which was unspeakably awful. No wonder communism collapsed. This is an unremarkable but quite drinkable lager, pale yellow, decent head, bit of sweetness and bitterness.

Jul 25, 2005 Bouteille de 500 ml achetée à la LCBO d’Hawkesbury, ONT. Arôme: Odeur de gazon et de céréales. Apparence: Couleur blonde. Aucun col. Faible densité des bulles. Aucune dentelle. Saveur: Goût d’houblons avec une touche de moufette. Court arriere goût. Palette: Le corps et la texture sont mince. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. (Rating #246).

Jul 15, 2005 Fruity and beany wort-hops aroma. A little more crisp and hoppy and it could pass for a pilsener. Pale golden yellow clear, with thin foamy white head. Medium watery body with medium-high carbonation. Starts with mild sweetness, like a typical pale lager, and light acidity. Good hop character, not quite crisp but of good quality. No skunkiness or off flavor. Finish is a bit watery and stale, with a lingering sweetness in the after. Not the best beer in the world, but likeable on a hot July afternoon.

Jul 5, 2005 Updated: Aug 24, 2005Russian beers are always fun to break out with your friends. It makes it seem like you went to the ends of the earth to find one. Nothing spectacular, kind of like a Russian Budweiser, but crisper. This beer is good, but not really worth the trip to BevMo.
