Baltika 3 Klassicheskoe (Classic)

Bottle. Pours a clear light gold with a one finger white head that leaves decent lacing. Nose is sweet grain and grassy hops. Taste is grain, light hops with a strange off aftertaste. Light mouth feel. Not very good.

I have never had a Russian beer, so i did not really know what to expect. Had in a bottle at Bottlescrew Bills, Calgary, AB. Aroma of hops and sweet corn malty touches. A bright gold amber pour with a medium sized white head. Sweet and hoppy, but leaves a moderately unpleasant aftertaste in my mouth. Overall, a fairly average beer.

Yellow to very light amber coloured, little carbonation and an average white head. Very sweet hoppy aroma, some sweet herbs. Medium palate, light sprankling. Finish is sweet-bitter, very little metallic aftertaste, but not disturbing the taste. Better than I expected. A medium lager, just a little to sweet.

bottle at Pravda Vodka Bar in Toronto. Pretty typical lager, not much flavor, watery but drinkable. Nothing really worth looking for, But the bar was pretty cool

hardly golden -piss yellow- it is made decently but weakly of malt and hops. a tad sour and grainy with corn taste of sweet. i found it had an edge rather than smoothness and i could not find much appreciation and cannot remember when i ever did. light fruit for whatever reason seems certainly out of place like an apple juice or maybe apple cider vinegar.

Crushed with Jakebra. As far as pale lagers go, and they dont go very far mind you, this one is excellent. Unlike any Ive had. The finish is bizarre, almost minty or mentholy. I cant explain. But it is smooth as hell. Its no PBR, but its good.

bottle. Clear pale golden yellow, mid-sized white head. Malty-sourish nose. Medium-bodied, malty, slightly hoppy with a sour and grainy character. Not my cup of tea.
