0.5L bottle pours a nice deep amber color with tan head. Aroma of dark fruit and hints of caramel. Nice. The flavor is full with shriveled plums, dates and raisins. By midway a streak of caramel enters the picture and helps create a nice medley of flavors. The taste experience ends with more dates and raisins. Tasty brew.

Bottle -- Dark brown with small, frothy off-white head. Not much retention. Good lacing. Aroma is mainly malty with some sweetness. Creamy mouthfeel at first, fading to wateriness after a while. Fairly dry flavour with a little bitterness up front. Not much life or fun about this beer.

Pours opaque amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet and lactic, with notes of nuts and chocolate. Flavor is the same as the aroma. Palate is a bit creamy and sweet.

Bottle, a syrupy appearance, dark amber/brown with no head. A soft malty aroma with a little molasses. Quite carbonated in the mouth, a strong malty flavour with molasses at first and then more licorice. A bitter hop background adds greater depth. Not too bad.

Bottle. Dark red with a medium, long-lasting, head. Malty aroma with caramel and a bit of coffee. Flavor is sweet and malty with a slightly bitter finish. Has a light body and a rather watery mouthfeel. Not a very good dunkel, but drinkable.

BoTTle slight smell of caramel; cloudy, medium-brown color; smooth taste with just a slight amount of bitterness; just a little less flavorful than I prefer ... but ty Dale for bringing it to meeting.
