| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 3, 2006 500mL bottle. Dark red-orange with a medium sized off-white head. Caramel and nutty toast in the aroma with banana peel and apple fruit tones. Mild undertones of cherry pit and banana complement light caramel and a ruddy earthen maltiness. Slightly bitter and herbal hops manifest in the finish, with some residual toastiness and a mild acidic twang. Mouthfeel is a light medium, somewhat dry. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 31, 2006 Deep copper pour with some ruby edges and a 3-finger off-white head. Aroma of big Wheaties, caramel malts, some fruit and nuts. The flavor is caramel malty up front, giving way to some figgy fruit, almonds, and some tannins. The whole thing is fairly well balanced and sticky. This one is not bad. Beerdedone (1888), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | May 22, 2006 Brilliant deep amber in colour, stale armoa.. like its off, but under that is a big amount of caramel. The beer is full bodied with barely any hops and a great sweet molasis finish. Its a very chewy and enjoyable beer, but I think i’d have to stop after one.
