Poured a dark ruby color, lots of nut flavor,Abit sweet, a nice dunkel, but a little too sticky for me, still a good brew, one of Baltika’s better brews

Amber color, small off white head.Aroma of malt and roasty with caramel and a slight sweetness hidden in there.Roasty flavor with a decent showing of caramel and a burnt side coming on to go with a slight grainy and malty attitude.Mildly sweet too but not overly done.Still for Russian beer it goes over fairly well with me.

500mL bottle. Dark red-orange with a medium sized off-white head. Caramel and nutty toast in the aroma with banana peel and apple fruit tones. Mild undertones of cherry pit and banana complement light caramel and a ruddy earthen maltiness. Slightly bitter and herbal hops manifest in the finish, with some residual toastiness and a mild acidic twang. Mouthfeel is a light medium, somewhat dry.

Deep copper pour with some ruby edges and a 3-finger off-white head. Aroma of big Wheaties, caramel malts, some fruit and nuts. The flavor is caramel malty up front, giving way to some figgy fruit, almonds, and some tannins. The whole thing is fairly well balanced and sticky. This one is not bad.

500 ml bottle. Light brown colour with a thin tan head. Aroma is lightly toasty ans sweet. Some caramel and toffee. Light earthy aromas as well. A bit of molasses. Flavour is fairly simple but clean. Slightly sweet on the finish, but not cloying. Not bad.

Brilliant deep amber in colour, stale armoa.. like its off, but under that is a big amount of caramel. The beer is full bodied with barely any hops and a great sweet molasis finish. Its a very chewy and enjoyable beer, but I think i’d have to stop after one.
